Rapoport's Sweep of the California Coast... A fabulous way

A helpful tool!

Take a hike! ...after you buy this book. The climbs range from the recreational family journeys to the hardcore hikes. The authors obviously have spent much time on each of these trails.
There is even a nice touch of history in the guide.. you can tell there was good research done off the trails too.
The black & white photos are there but can't do the land justice. Get out and go.

Hikers Bible

Best Photos Ever Of A Fantastic CityThe photos are crystal clear and have captions that explain the photo. Probably the most intriging of the photos are the ones of the Hotel and Casinos. The Luxor, MGM Grand, and the Stratosphere are all excellently photoed.
A great soverniger for anybody wanting to go or have been to Vegas.

This book is great!

Above The Rest

Well laid-out

Don't leave home without this book!

ACCESS Guides are the BEST!I like their format - they are organized by neighborhoods, so you don't have to seach around through the book all day; and they have an empasis on restaurants and shopping, which I find the other guides don't give enough info on and which are my FAVORITE activities when travelling. Also their print is large, clear, and color coded, which also makes it easy to find what you want (restaurants in one color, shopping in another, tourist sites in another).
It's the best guide to carry around each day while travelling.
